Privacy policy


TravelFriends provides to all its registered users realization of their rights, which is resultant from the act from 29th August 1997 about private data protection (Dz.U. nr 133, point 883), especially meaning their right to have an insight to their data, the right to update it and to remove their data as well as the right to raise an objection in the cases stated in the regulations of this act. The User does not have any right to publicize any personal data of the other users, which he obtained while using the Portal service, without prior getting a clear agreement of those users. The User is obliged to keep in private his/her password to the access to the Service and to not to share it with any third party. The Administrator of the Service will use all his / her technical and control opportunities in order to eliminate sending out by the users logged in to the Service information, which can be taken by the others as a spam. Accounts, from which a spam is sent out, will be removed without a prior warning. Information, which is included in system logos can contain different types of data, e.g. IP address. TravelFriends portal uses such information only for technical reasons and in order to gather some general, statistical demographic information. This data can be made accessible on the base of existing law in case of justified law compulsion or/and the rights of TravelFriends, trial of burglary or any other act of doing TravelFriends a disservice. Some of the areas of TravelFriends can use cookies – text files, which are saved in the user’s computer and which identify him in a way necessary to enable some operations. Cookies are used among others in order to remember the data that is necessary to log a User in. The cookies have to be accepted by a browser and they should not be removed from the computer so that the condition that the cookies worked correctly, was fulfilled. Those files in any case do not encroach on Users’ privacy level and by making a blockade against them you can disable the correct work of the service. The Administrator reserves the right to send out to TravelFriends Users unannounced messages. Those include: information related directly to the functionality of the Portal (e.g. changes in the functionality) or non-commercial letters (e.g. seasonal wishes, information about new messages, functionalities or reports of the system). Each User of the Portal has the right to reserve that he/she does not want to receive any information from the Portal. Letters with commercial contents, related to the commercial activity of the Administrator and his / her contractors, according to the contents of art. 10 Act from 18th July 2002 (Ustawa o świadczeniu usług drogą elektroniczną: Dz. U. 2002, Nr 144, poz. 1204, z późn. zm.) can be sent to the Users only with their consent. Blocking of an account: A termination of an agreement by a User is voluntary and can happen any time with the use of a form. The termination of the agreement about providing services via electronic device results in blocking his/her account and its automatic removal.
